Stephanie Lentz

Steph Lentz is a former advertising writer and secondary school teacher. She came to public attention in 2021 after she was sacked from her job as a teacher due to her sexuality. Steph tells the story of this experience in her debut memoir In/Out: A Scandalous Story of Falling Into Love and Out of The Church (HarperCollins, 2023). Steph holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), majoring in Philosophy, from the University of Sydney and a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of NSW. Steph is currently based on the south coast of NSW.
