Lee Christine
Lee is the author of best-selling Snowy Mountains crime series, Charlotte Pass, Crackenback and Dead Horse Gap, published by Allen and Unwin in 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively. In 2020, Charlotte Pass won the Australian Romance Readers Award for Favourite Romantic Suspense. The abridged version of both Charlotte Pass and Crackenback were also published by Reader’s Digest (Select Digest) Australia and New Zealand edition. Lee’s latest crime novel, Glenrock, published in 2024, is set in her hometown of Newcastle.
Lee loves connecting with readers and has appeared at the Newcastle Writers Festival, Lake Macquarie Libraries Write Here! Festival, and the Mount Beauty Writers Festival. Lee has been a guest speaker at major fundraisers such as Friends of Newcastle University’s monthly ‘Lunch with a Writer’ and the Mark Hughes Brain Cancer Foundation. She is also a popular guest speaker at libraries, Probus Clubs, book clubs and various women’s groups.
Lee has two grown children and lives in Newcastle with her husband and her Irish Wheaten Terrier, Honey.
