Juliet Moodie
Juliet is a comedian, musician, writer, actor and founder of The Fearless Initiative – an organisation uniting comedians against family violence.
Juliet is widely recognised for her original comedy work, including touring Australia and abroad as one-half of musical comedy duo, Sparrow-Folk. Co-created in 2012 with best friend and fellow funny person, Catherine Crowley, Sparrow-Folk has become one of the most successful comedy exports. In 2015, Sparrow-Folk was awarded funding from Arts ACT to take their 5-star show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and created a brand-new international fan base.
Juliet produced the successful Fearless Comedy Gala drawing comedians across the country in a united voice to make a stand against family violence. Producing this event not only provided an incredible opportunity for Juliet to channel her own experience of violence into a force for change, but it also affirmed her strengths as a creative producer.
