Bron Sibree

Bron Sibree is an Australian freelance journalist whose work centres on the craft of writing and the power of narrative. For more than two decades, she has written for publications across the Antipodes, Asia and South Africa, with a particular focus on interviewing authors and reviewing contemporary literature. Alongside her journalism, she works with a small number of writers, offering careful editorial guidance to help shape structure, clarity, and direction within a manuscript.

Bron has recently completed her first book, a work of non-fiction developed over more than a decade called The Last Fish. The project has taken her across Sweden, Norway, Chile, Uruguay and Mauritius in conversation with fishers, scientists, researchers, policy makers, journalists and environmentalists.

Across all her work, the focus remains consistent: a deep respect for story, and an understanding of how narrative shapes the way we see and make sense of the world. Bron lives on Wadhjuk Noongar country in East Fremantle, Western Australia.
