Alice Williams

Alice Williams is a freelance writer and the author of Would it Kill You to Say Please as well as the critically acclaimed memoir Bad Yogi. Alice has a Bachelor in Communications which she put to excellent use as a flunky in a dating agency matching wealthy men to thin young blonde women. She also worked as a storyliner on a long running TV soap on which she learned the golden rule of Australian television: ‘Never show the hunks crying’. 

Her features and essays have appeared in The Guardian, The Age/SMH, The Big Issue, Sunday Life, M Magazine, Elephant Journal, Australian Women’s Health, Australian Yoga Life and The Hoopla, among others.

She lives in Melbourne with her two young children.
